Assembling your marble kit is easy and fun! Get started with just a few simple essentials. We've curated the best materials to help you build your kit quickly, so you're ready to dive into the games.
Here's what you'll need.

25 Small Marbles
Quantity & Size: 25 small marbles, split into 5 sets of 5 marbles each.
Size: Each marble should measure around ½ inch - ⅝ inch (16–17mm) in diameter.
Color Tips: Choose colors that are easy to spot on a variety of surfaces. Solid colors, or marbles with a white base and speckled colors, work best. While cat’s eye marbles are fun, lighter colors like clear or yellow may blend in with some play areas, making them harder to see.
These marbles will be used in various quantities and formats across all the games you’ll find at Marble Go.

1 Large Shooter Marble
Size: A single large "Shooter" marble measuring 1 inch (25–26mm) in diameter.
Color Tips: Opt for a high-visibility Shooter. Dark-colored Shooters may be challenging to spot during certain games.
The Shooter acts as an offensive piece in some games, while in others, it becomes the target.

1 10' Scoreline
Material: We recommend using a standard 550 paracord for the Scoreline. Note: Do not use Black; the score marks mentioned later will not be visible.
Length & Preparation: Cut a 10-foot length and seal the ends to prevent fraying.
Pro Tip: Check out this tutorial on how to safely finish the ends. Note: This should be done by an adult.
Marking Points: Use a permanent marker to mark spots at certain distances along the Scoreline:
8”, 24”, 48”, 52”
These marks correspond to scoring zones for our 4-Score game. Make sure the markings go all the way around the cord for easy visibility during gameplay.
This Scoreline will serve as both a boundary and a scoring system in many of our games.

Storage Bag
Any small drawstring bag will work perfectly to store your marbles, Shooter, and Scoreline. We recommend a bag around 6” in length and 3” in width. With everything neatly packed, you’ll have a portable marble kit that’s ready for spontaneous fun wherever you go!
