Loop Island

Play with 2 - 5 people

Requires the Scoreline, 4 marbles of same color per player

Setup: Create 3 different sized loops in the Scoreline. Temporarily, tie a loop 4-6 inches in diameter on one end of the Scoreline. Then create two new, different-sized loops with the excess Scoreline by feeding it over itself. Orient these 3 different sized loops near or apart from one another to match any level of difficulty desired for scoring. Loops can also vary in shape. These loops are “islands”. The smallest island is 3 points, the next size island is 2 points, and the largest island is 1 point.

Objective: Have the highest score each round by sending your marbles into the islands.

How do you play?

Simple Scoring

  • Each Player takes a turn tossing or rolling one of their marbles toward the islands. Turns continue until all marbles have been played during the round. Count the total points scored per Player. Continue playing rounds while adding points per Player until a Player reaches 21 points. If more than one Player scores 21 points or more at the same time, the Player with the highest points total wins.

Moderate Scoring

  • Each Player takes a turn tossing or rolling one of their marbles toward the islands. Turns continue until all marbles have been played during the round. Count the total points scored per Player. Continue playing rounds while adding points per Player until a Player reaches 21 points without going over. If a Player goes past 21 points, then they must reset their score to 15 points and continue playing.

Advanced Scoring

  • Same as moderate play. If a player does not score any points in a round, they must skip all their turns in the next round.
