4 Score

Play with 2 people, or 2 teams of 2

Requires the Scoreline, 4 marbles of same color per player

Setup: Extend the Scoreline in a straight line. Players stand behind the start end of the Scoreline and choose which side of the Scoreline the rounds will be played on. Each round is only played on one side of the Scoreline, not both. The score zones are 4, 1, 2, and 3 in order – the nearest 4-point area is closest to the Player end of the Scoreline.

Reminder: the Scoreline must have the marked spots which indicate the score zones. See the kit instructions.

Objective: Have the highest score at the end of each round by sending your marbles into the scoring zones.

How do you play?

Simple Scoring

  • Each Player takes a turn tossing or rolling one of their marbles towards the points area. Turns continue until all marbles have been played during the round. Count the total points scored per Player. Continue playing rounds while adding points per Player until a Player reaches 21 points. If more than one Player scores 21 points or more at the same time, the Player with the highest points total wins. Any marbles that stop past the far end of the Scoreline or stop before the 4-point area do not score any points.

Moderate Scoring

  • Each Player takes a turn tossing or rolling one of their marbles towards the points area. Turns continue until all marbles have been played during the round. Count the total points scored per Player. Subtract the lowest points from the highest points to get determine the net points for the round for the scoring Player. Only one player scores per round. Continue playing rounds while adding points per Player until a Player reaches 21 points without going over. If a Player goes past 21 points, then they must reset their score to 15 points and continue playing. Any marbles that stop past the far end of the Scoreline or stop before the 4-point area do not score any points.
