Express 30-Minute Blueprint
Game Sample: Knock Out
Designed for tight schedule blocks, recess modules, or library activity hours, this 30-minute plan gets participants active within five minutes while maintaining strict equipment accountability.
| Time | Phase | Operational Steps & Facilitator Directives |
|---|---|---|
| 0–5 min | Setup & Pod Allocation | • Divide youth into 4-person pods per Marble Go™ Kit. • Assign play areas. • Pod members lay out the Scoreline™ into an even ring, select 1 Taw per participant, and group mibs into the center of the ring while participants gather outside. • Explain the rules and objective for Knock Out. |
| 5–25 min | Active Match Play | • Youth self-manage turn order and line boundary calls. • Facilitator rotates between pods to monitor and coach proper flicking technique. |
| 25–30 min | 60-Second Inventory & Pack-Up | • Conduct the 60-Second Pack-Up (25 Mibs, 4 Taws, 1 Scoreline™, 3 Go Rings™, 3 Loop-aids, 1 Pouch). • Stow all components in the pouch. • Brief SEL reflection on sportsmanship and fair play. |
Game Selection: Choose from any of the games in our Marble Go Originals and Traditional Games libraries, or select a game we’ve recommended that fits your context and space.

Express Execution Guidance
Standard 60-Minute Lesson & Session
Games Sample: Knock Out and 4 Score
The standard 60-minute curriculum combines explicit physical skill instruction, station rotations, and structured reflection.
| Time | Phase | Operational Steps & Facilitator Directives |
|---|---|---|
| 0–10 min | Skill Clinic & Mechanics | • Demonstration: Show proper Knuckling Down technique (at least one knuckle resting on the ground) and thumb-flick release. • Practice: Have participants partner up and sit about 4’ apart. Line up 5–10 mibs in the center. Participants take turns aiming and flicking their Taw toward the mibs. • Lexicon: Reinforce terminology (Taws, Mibs, Flicks). |
| 10–55 min | Station Rotation Play | • Split participants into two station tracks (12–15 min per station): – Station A (Precision & Target Control): Knock Out — Pod members lay out the Scoreline™ into an even ring, select 1 Taw per participant, and pool mibs into the center of the ring while participants gather outside. – Station B (Distance & Force Modulation): 4 Score — Pod members extend the Scoreline™ (10’) in a straight line, select 4 Mibs of the same color per member, and stand behind the end of the Scoreline™ furthest from the scoring zones. • Rotate pods midway through the time block. |
| 55–60 min | Pouch Pack-Up & Wrap-Up | • Execute the 60-Second Pack-Up procedure per pod. • Stow pouches. • SEL Reflection: Discussion on sportsmanship, spacial courtesy, and fair play. |

Tournament Samples
Simple competitions. Choose whether the tournament is played with only one game or rounds are played amongst multiple games.
Knock Out Ring Elimination
Setup: Use the Scoreline™ connected at its magnetic ends to form a circular perimeter. Group all Target Marbles in the center.
Mechanics Overview:
Youth kneel outside the Scoreline™ perimeter with one knuckle touching the ground on the edge of the perimeter.
Players alternate flicking their Taw toward the center cluster.
Target Marbles (Mibs) driven fully outside the Scoreline™ are collected by the player.
If a player successfully clears a Target Marble and their Taw remains inside the perimeter, they retain their turn and flick again from where the Taw rests.
If no Target Marble is cleared or the Taw exits the ring, the turn ends.
Victory Condition: The player or team with the highest count of collected Target Marbles once the ring is cleared advances to the next bracket round.
Marble Match Point Ladder
Best For: 1-2 youth pods, variable surfaces, large multi-use rooms, shared activity spaces, and mixed-ages.
Setup: Open space (no perimeter boundary required). One player gently tosses a target Taw into the playing field as the lead mark.
Mechanics Overview:
Players take turns flicking their designated color set of 4 Mibs toward the lead Taw.
Once all Mibs are flicked, points are awarded to the player whose marbles rest closest to the target Taw.
Victory Condition: The first player or team to reach exactly 11 points wins the round and advances to the next bracket round.
